Through the COVID 19 Pandemic, families qualifying for CHIP health care coverage were able to retain benefits through continuous coverage without the need to reapply yearly for benefits.  This provision is ending on April 1, 2023.  Therefore, families who utilize CHIP Health Care Coverage are strongly encouraged to reapply to avoid a lapse in coverage.
