Union School District is conducting a survey to determine the number of children eligible to enter kindergarten at Sligo Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year.

If you have a kindergarten age child, please complete the attachment below. To enroll in kindergarten a child must be 5 years of age on or before July 2, 2026.

A Parent Orientation Meeting will be held in the cafeteria at Sligo Elementary School on Wednesday, April 1 2026 at 6:00 p.m. for parents/guardians. Parents will have an opportunity to meet the principal, school nurse, kindergarten teachers, special education director, and transportation director. Parents may also schedule an appointment for the screening process, which will occur on Thursday, April 23, 2026 and Friday, April 24, 2026.
